Although Big Sky is a small town, the area still has fantastic nightlife, there are over 20 bars in the area. Whether you are looking for happy hours, live music, or social bars, nightlife in Big Sky has it all.
Tips Up has taken Big Sky’s nightlife by storm. This bar is friendly to all ages and had outdoor and indoor games including pool, shuffleboard, and cornhole. The food menu features fried chicken but has healthier options as well. They also have a great happy hour and live music Thursday-Saturday nights.
The Gallatin River House
The Gallatin River House isn’t just popular for their famous BBQ, they also have some of the best nightlife in Big Sky. Yearround, Thursday-Saturday, The River House has rotating live music. Locals and tourists alike come from miles around to grab a drink and tell stories about fishing and skiing. It is the perfect stop on the way home from Yellowstone National Park.
The Broken Spoke is the local’s dive bar in town. The Spoke features happy hour, live music, karaoke, and, gambling. Located just outside the Big Sky Town center, it is in a great location for anyone looking to see the local Big Sky environment.
Beehive Brewing is Big Sky’s favorite craft brewery. Located outside the Big Sky Towncenter, Beehive Brewing operates a microbrewery and a neighboring taproom. Stop in and try their Green Bridge IPA or one of their other signature beers. Beehive is a great place to grab a beer after a long day of skiing, but hurry, they are only open until 8 P.M.
Copper Whisky Bar
If you’re looking for more of an upscale evening, look no further than the Copper Whisky Bar in the Wilson Hotel. They feature local whisky and cocktails and a food menu full of Montana-raised beef.
